However in real life, the processingtime may be indeterminate, such as in tasks of Theory of Constraints(TOC)scheduling. The TOC Scheduling points out the reason of indeterminate processingtime by prolongation of start point of tasks, overestimation of processing time, closedoor of completion of tasks etc.\n This indeterminate time can be cut by about 50%, and the saved time used as abuffer to protect the critical schedule and the project.\n In this research, processing times were treated with decision variablesformulated according to the satisfaction level function of fuzzy theory, with a focuson scheduling to maximize the satisfaction level of the decision maker with respectto completion time. A project scheduling problem with a fuzzy processing time isconsidered, and an efficient algorithm based on ordinary critical path method isproposed and its validity discussed.
