The primary object of the research was first graders – who had had big changes in the transition from elementary to junior high school.  Results showed the importance of friendships in school life. In particular the girls had support from their friends in times of trouble, however friends were also the main source of worry – indicating that friends could also be a stressor.  The first graders were also supported by their families. It was considered that the teachers and the school counselor would be in the best position to cooperate with parents.  A large number of the first graders had either physical or mental issues because of lack of sleep. This suggested that the school counselor should cooperate with the school nurse and take action to build up a support system for both physical and mental health.}, pages = {21--31}, title = {中学校1年生への心の健康に関する一考察}, volume = {27}, year = {2014}, yomi = {タケハタ, ユウスケ} }
