The examples that we give here are as follows: 1 “série integral” and “chance operation”, 2 “open form” 3 “graphic”, 4 “tape music”, 5 “minimal music”. The reason why we choose these styles of contemporary music is that in these examples we can recognize both the changes in aesthetic demand with regard to the musical interpretations and the essential questions to those interpretations. In this way, the above-mentioned music is very different from other classical music in the traditional style. After all, these radical styles pose the question: “What is music?”.}, title = {現代音楽と演奏解釈}, volume = {16}, year = {2003} }
