However the mechanism of such dialogues has not been examined sufficiently. This paper first defines dialogue, not based on the practical theories of business administration, but on philosophy, and educational and clinical psychology. This is followed by a review of the literature on dialogue in business administration, specifically, organizational knowledge creation theory, cross-cultural management theory, and dialogue marketing theory; and goes on to examine how to recognize dialogue and the focus of these theories.
