The course has three main themes: orientation for college life, training in basic learning skills, and orientation for social life after graduation. For the last three years I have been managing my course on the basis of two mottoes: \"easy-going but high quality\" concerning the choice of teaching materials and \"emotional intelligence\" concerning personal communication with students.
