The course has three main themes: orientation for college life, training in basic learning skills, and orientation for social life after graduation. For the last three years I have been managing my course on the basis of two mottoes: "easy-going but high quality" concerning the choice of teaching materials and "emotional intelligence" concerning personal communication with students.
