Also claims have been made that the vocalization of dark ［］to ［ ］, for example “feel” ［fi ］, which is originally one of the features of Cockney,has already become standard in Received Pronunciation （RP）, over the course ofthis century. Cockney is a class dialect as well as a regional one, which is spreadwidely through the working class of London. “Estuary English” （London Regional RP）, is an accent which shows RP modified toward Cockney, including thisvocalization.
