Said’s Culture and Imperialism stirred up a post-colonial dispute about the novel, Mansfield Park, written by Jane Austen. \n　But Said’s point in question was to interpret the “structure of attitude and reference” of Austen from a viewpoint of the criticism of colonialism from within a colonial realm.
