The concept has two levels of meaning. At the practical level it means to change the situation where a person experiences intellectual disabilities because of the fact that he/she or someone else who shares the same situation cannot understand something in the situation. This is so that nobody has to experience intellectual disabilities, in other words difficulty or inconvenience coming from the fact that someone in the situation cannot understand something. At the level of the situation it means a certain ideal situation where nobody experiences intellectual disabilities. The author explains that there exist two basic approaches to intellectual barrier free practice: the individual approach and the environmental approach.}, pages = {59--74}, title = {知的バリアフリーのための一歩として: 知的バリア状況の検討}, volume = {23}, year = {2010} }
