　Recently altruistic behavior has been discussed within the context of theories of organizational behavior. Experimental studies into the application of the theory of altruistic behavior present some methodological problems and solutions to these are discussed, enabling the theory to be applied to empirical study. The theory can then be used as a framework to interpret more deeply the results of existing research, for example that into Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB).},
