In this study, irrational career belief constructs were examined by classifying items on a scale and examining the irrationalities of the constructs in accordance with the theory of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). Eleven categories were extracted from the six scales/inventories, which comprised 176 items that were chosen for the examination. The relationships between these categories and REBT’s classification of irrational beliefs such as demands, awfulizing, discomfort intolerance, and depreciation were examined from the perspective of irrationalities.
