They were concerned with the organization and activities of an army under a commander whose name was Anchur at the period of the Mongol empire of 13th and 14th centuries. Anchur was a commander of a thousand soldiers under Prince Chagatai’s order and conquered the western part of the Shanxi 陜西.\n In the previous research in 1992, I especially referred to the two zhou (州 subprefectures) which Anchur captured in 1235. I identified them as Jing-zhou 泾州 and Bin-zhou 邠州 and certified that they belonged to the fief of Prince Chagatai. But I did not present a direct evidence. One piece of the indirect evidences was that a branch of the descendants of the Chagataid was given a Prince title of Bin-wang 邠王 in 1307.\n In 2000 I had a chance to looked at three Buddhist towers at Shijia 史家village, shi’s family village , to the northeast of Taiyuan 太原 city of Shanxi 山西 province far from Bin and Jing. Those towers were dedicated to the members of the family of Shi 史. And each tower had an inscription concerning with the buried members.\n The inscription on the west tower states that the tomb was made under the order of Prince Nomtash. He is a descendant of the Chagataid and bore the title Bin-wang 邠王. That of the central tower states that another tomb was established by Esen Temür for his father Shi zhongxian 史仲顕. The official title of Esen temür was the darughachi of the Bin-zhou.\n As the darughachi was appointed by the lord of the fief. This was directevidence certified that Bin-zhou was the fief of the family of Bin-wang Prince Nomtash, combining the contents of both inscriptions.
