| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to 1)determine the current incidence of dateviolence, 2) investigate the relationship between assailants and victims and thecharacteristics of both. There were 324 undergraduate participants of whom 177 were female and 147 male. Major findings were: 1) 75%, had been victims of dating violence and 62.3% hadbeen assailants; 2) the victims were not satisfied with the relationship and felt inferior to their partners; 3) assailants held others in low esteem and had stronggender roles; 4) victims and assailants shared the common characteristics of low basic socialization and high anger; and 5) it became clear that both victims andassailants shared similar group characteristics. The results suggest the importance of education in raising basic socialization,managing anger and improving relationship skills. |
